The American Miniature Horse Registry National Championships in Tulsa is preparing to be a big event for small equines and their fans. This year’s AMHR show will determine the nation’s top miniature horses at Expo Square.

The Southern Economic Development Council has announced the organization will have its 2013 annual conference in Tulsa. Tentatively scheduled, the SEDC conference will bring more than 300 individuals to Tulsa.

Two veterans cut from Tulsa Shock roster
After the first practice on their home court, the Tulsa Shock trimmed Christi Thomas and Ivory Latta from the roster. The move cut the roster from 14 to 12. The league requires all rosters to be at 11 by 1 p.m. tomorrow.
