In 1998, Scott Hambrick purchased a company for which he had, just five years prior, been a delivery driver.Hambrick was a driver for Data Storage Inc. for two years before attending the University of Oklahoma. In 1995, he founded H&H Contracting, the success of which allowed him to later purchase Data Storage Inc. “In 2008, we bought American Document Imaging to increase our document digitization capacity,” Hambrick said. “In April we rolled out a new product called Digital Fileroom that has the potential to make every business in Tulsa green and paperless. “As long as we see opportunities, we’ll be staying (in Tulsa).” Hambrick said his initial inspiration came from working in libraries, which he did for 10 years. “Data Storage and I essentially work as librarians to the business community of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas,” he said. “I love it.” Hambrick has served on the boards of the Crescendo Awards, the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma and his church. “About one month ago, a friend of mine approached me about helping a group start a working ranch in south central Oklahoma that will serve as a halfway house for men exiting the prison system,” he said of his future charitable endeavors.
